Wednesday, October 4, 2017
Lord, today we pray for Tom Shypitka, as he has chosen to consider public service, and to give of his time and talents to serve as the new MLA for Kootenay East. We pray that you would grant him insight and discernment as he considers the best way to serve not only the constituents of his Kootenay riding, but also as a conscientious member of the opposition in our provincial legislature this year. Bless Tom in all of his athletic and volunteer activities, as he seeks to balance this with the challenges of this important new role in our legislature. Bless him and his wife, Carrie, and their 3 children in this coming year as he takes on this new challenge and opportunity in his life.
