Heavenly Father thank you for MLA Steve Thomson. We ask you to bless him as he serves the people in British Columbia and that you would continue to lead and guide him. We ask you God, to increase his ability to be that visionary you called him to be. May You ensure that even in the midst of his busy schedule, that he, his wife Brenda and family will always find time to be together. In Jesus name, Amen………………………
Steve Thomson was re-elected as MLA for Kelowna-Mission in 2017. He served as Speaker in June 2017, during the First Session of the 41st Parliament.
Steve is currently the Official Opposition Co-Critic for Citizens’ Services and Trade, and sits on the Select Standing Committee on Aboriginal Affairs.
He has a great love of sports and had a long career in rugby, which included the opportunity to play for the Canadian National Rugby Team. His current interests include golf, gardening, and being an ardent rugby fan.
Steve is a husband, father and grandfather. He is married to Brenda and together they have three children and five grandchildren.
