MLA Shirley Bond, Prince George – Valemont

Tuesday, March 20, 2018

Lord, today we pray for MLA Shirley Bond, as you have called her to continue to serve the riding of Prince George-Valemount, a riding that she has already served for many years. We give thanks, Lord, for her heart for provincial political service, serving in many very significant portfolios while the Liberal party formed the government. We are grateful for her long-term faithful and diligent service. We pray that you would grant her insight and discernment as she considers the best way to serve not only the constituents of her own riding, but also now as a conscientious member of the opposition in our provincial legislature, particularly as it relates to evaluating financial decisions made by the current government. Bless Shirley with insight and wisdom, and bless her and her husband, Bill, and their children and grandsons with health and daily strength. Amen…….

Shirley Bond was elected in 2001 and 2005 as the MLA for Prince George-Mount Robson, and re-elected in 2009, 2013 and 2017 as the MLA for Prince George-Valemount.  Shirley lives in Prince George with Bill, her husband of more than 30 years, and they love spending time with their twin adult children and their families, especially their grandsons Caleb and Cooper.
