MLA Linda Larson, Boundary Similkameen

Monday, January 8, 2018

Father, we are very thankful for MLA Linda Larson and the experience she has gained through her years of service. Would you give her fresh vision as she works to enhance the lives of her constituents in Boundary-Similkameen.  Bless her with good health and keep her safe as she travels throughout her riding during these winter months.  Amen.

Linda Larson was elected MLA for Boundary-Similkameen in 2013 and re-elected in 2017. Linda served as the Parliamentary Secretary for Rural Education to the Minister of Education and was a member of the Cabinet Committee on Secure Tomorrow.

She was also a member of the Select Standing Committees on Health and Legislative Initiatives. Previous to being elected as an MLA, Linda sat on the Oliver Council and served as mayor from 1997 to 2005.

Growing up in Comox, Linda moved to Oliver in 1989 with her husband Larry. She owned three businesses in Oliver between 1989 and 2002 – Eastside Grocery, Stedmans V/S and Ruffled Edges – and served on the BC Small Business Roundtable between 2005 and 2011.

Linda and her husband Larry have three daughters and four grandchildren.
